BOP stands for the BZSt online.portal. The BOP offers an efficient, modern, media-break-free and secure data transmission of your data to the Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt). The BZSt takes central
tax tasks with national and international reference.

What can I use the BOP for?

The Online Access Act (OZG) will make it possible from 2023 all applications and notifications (so-called administrative services) of the BZSt digital (i.e. paperless) to transmit. The BZSt online.portal (BOP) is available to you for this interactive web application for authenticated delivery Electronic forms available.

What advantages does the BOP offer me?

The BOP offers all administrative services of the BZSt digitally. This means you can take advantage of all the advantages of electronic submission. That would be an example

• Simple login via well-known identity or trust services (e.g. identity card or ELSTER account)
• Pre-filling of the forms with your data
• All your processes at a glance
• Plausibility check upon creation and transmission
• Direct communication with the BZSt

How can I register with the BOP?

The following means of authentication are available to you for your registration
Disposal:

• ELSTER with your user account at "My ELSTER" your online Tax office. You can find more information at www.elster.de
• Bund user account with your bund ID. For more information see at www.verwaltung.bund.de
• Portal account with BZSt certificate. Find all information about registration see www.bzst.de
