How can I sign in?
You can log in to the BOP with an Elster certificate, the federal user account (Nutzerkonto Bund) or the BZSt certificate.
How long does it take to apply a registration application?
It takes about three weeks from receipt of the registration application at the Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt) to the first login in BOP due to processing and postal time.
Is there an app for BZSt online.portal?
BOP is not supported by an app. However, you can use BOP via the browser of any given mobile device.
Where can I upload my mass data in BOP?
Mass data cannot currently be transmitted via the new BOP. You can upload mass data here:

Why are there two BOPs?
We are currently in a transition process. All services will soon be available on the new BZSt online.portal. Until then, you will find an overview of all services and the corresponding forms here
How can I upload documents?
You can submit documents by using the "Submit additional documents/receipts" form.
Where can I find notification/messages?
Messages or notifications, as well as your own messages to the BZSt, are available in your process overview. However, this will only be displayed after your login.
