The BZSt's cost-effective ELMA procedure is currently available for authenticated transmission of bulk data. The mass data interface ELMA provides the following functions, among others:
Data can be transmitted between any terminals and the ITZBund as a service provider for the BZSt via the mass data interface ELMA. The prerequisite for this is successful registration with the specialist procedure in the BZSt online portal and activation for the ELMA procedure for each specialist procedure for which the data transfer is to take place.

The ELMA communication method was developed for the transmission of mass data. The target group are major customers such as B. Data centers of the banking industry. Among other things, Knowledge of data processing and network technology required.
